The NL Sports Week (December 12 – December 16) is about to start! In the upcoming weeks towards the NL Sports Week we will introduce the organizations that will participate in the NL Sports Week at the Expo in Dubai. We will do this by asking everyone the same 5 questions. Today, we have the pleasure to introduce Hydraloop Systems (website)!
- Can you briefly introduce Hydraloop Systems?

- What does your organization have to offer in the UAE?
There are several challenges facing the United Arab Emirates in managing water: low groundwater reserves, high salinity levels in existing groundwater plus the UAE has one of the highest per capita water consumption rates in the world at 630 cubic meters per capita per day. And with water demand increasing every year, Hydraloop can seriously contribute to reduce water consumption, wastewater emission and carbon footprint.
- Why do you participate in the NL Sports Week at the Expo in Dubai?
In recent years, the UAE has been very active in opening sport facilities, and anything else that relates to sport. With its Middle Eastern office in UAE, Hydraloop is committed to assist the UAE and the GCC region in ‘greening’ the sports sector.
- What are you looking forward to the most?
We are looking forward to meeting an international audience in order to expand our network, exchange knowledge and get in touch with government officials from all GCC region & property developers.
- Why should everyone come to the Netherlands Pavilion and meet you at the Expo?
International studies and white papers by, amongst others, the United Nations and international universities, all point to the same direction: if we want to make sure there is water for generations to come, we must recycle and reuse water. The Netherlands has been known for its superb water solutions for centuries. Hydraloop is proud to present its award winning and game-changing water saving products at the Dutch Pavilion, showing the world how easy it is to Use Water Twice!
